unknown author, 3rd quarter of the 17th century

oil on canvas, in a period frame (in 1909 cleaned and duplicated by A. Fahlberg

Origin: Löbenicht; from 1830 in Malbork (Great Commandery at the Middle Castle)

Image unknown. B. Schmid states that the identification of the unsigned portrait of Georg Wilhelm Hohenzollern was possible on the basis of an inscribed graphic by Crispin de Passe (1564–1637) – a Dutch engraver, painter and illustrator.

In 1830, the painting was donated to Malbork, where, after conservation in 1909, until the Second World War, was stored in the premises of the Grand Commandery in the Middle Castle.
